There was a time not all that long ago when airlines just got on with their job and did not need to reassure the public that they could cope with busy times. American Airlines has let the world know it is going to have a very busy Thanksgiving holiday period, but passengers can rest assured that the airline is ready to handle the more than 8.3 million passengers it will carry over the period.
