Speaking of fashions and trends, also for 2023 we will see an important slice of the news concentrated in the SUV category. In fact, these car models, which have invaded our streets, arouse the interest of buyers looking for comfortable and high cars, without clearly giving up anything on the handling side of the vehicle. Furthermore, the other big trend that we will see next year will be represented by full electric cars that are conquering ever increasing market shares. But let’s see what news await us over the course of the year.
The automotive year will kick off with a bang with the presentation and actual arrival of some interesting models such as Ferrari Purosangue, BMW M3 Touring and XM and Mercedes EQS SUV. For February, however, the main innovations are represented by the launches of Citroen C4X, and of the Polester 2 which inaugurates the landing in Italy of the Swedish brand.
Spring has arrived, we will be able to witness the debut of the electric Hyundai Ioniq 6, of the Maserati Granturismo also in electric version and finally of the BMW 7 Series hybrid. Great expectations in this period are represented by the official presentations of the Opel Astra-e and GSe, and of the new Mitsubishi ASX crossover.
From spring to the end of 2023: all the news
With the arrival of spring, things get serious with the arrival of the BMW M2, as well as the debut of the SUV Coupé U6, the Ford Kuga, as well as the launch of the Mercedes EQE SUV. However, the real news regarding the summer months is represented by the arrival of the new electric Renault 5 which we talked about in our dedicated special.
The summer months will not disappoint us either, and include the launch of the Maserati GranCabrio, followed by the electric versions of the Peugeot 308 and 308 SW, among other innovations. The summer, however, will see the presence of many more previews than real news: The only exceptions are represented by the launches of Honda CR-V, and Mazda CX-80.
There are also few confirmed launches for the autumn months, in which we will mainly see the new Peugeot mild Hybrid 3008 and 5008 engines, as well as the commercial debut for the Honda ZR-V SUV, already on sale in the US, and for the Korean SsangYong Torres ( The end of the year in conclusion reserves us the arrival of the new Ford Mustang, the launch of the electric Rolls-Roice Specter and finally we will be able to lay our eyes on the Ioniq 5 N, the electric sports version with 600 HP engine .
