COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
One of the most successful head coaches in Tolton baseball history is departing from the program to return to his alma mater. A school spokesperson confirmed to ABC 17 Sports on Monday that Ehrich Chick has informed Father Tolton Catholic High School that he will be stepping away from serving as its head baseball coach to accept the same position at Hickman.
The Hickman alum was hired as Tolton’s head baseball coach in 2019 and led the Trailblazers to a 66-27 overall record during his tenure. Under Chick’s leadership, Tolton won three district titles in four seasons, including the school’s first state baseball championship in 2022, and never posted a losing record.
