Leyja: Saudi Arabia’s first eco-tourist spot is now in progress

Leyja is a region situated in the Gulf of Aqaba–a valley in northwest Saudi Arabia that is soon to open up to the world as its latest sustainable tourism destination, aiming to provide various eco-friendly experiences.
According to a statement by the Board of Directors of NEOM, the region features three hotels designed to complement the natural surroundings. Tourists can indulge in active adventures, explore the valley, and experience immersive wellness retreats.
The development also encompasses upscale dining options, modern restaurants, rooftop infinity pools, guided wadi walks, scenic hiking trails, as well as opportunities for mountain biking and rock climbing.
