Amber Heard has been using a cowgirl pseudonym to keep out of the public eye as she vacations in Mallorca, Spain, according to local reports.
Heard, 36, has been renting a luxury villa under the name of gun-slinging frontierswoman Martha Jane Cannary aka Calamity Jane in the wake of her legal loss to ex Johnny Depp in a highly publicized defamation case, according to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
Cannary was a sharpshooter in the 19th century, and was portrayed in HBO’s western series Deadwood.
Heard’s multimillion-dollar villa, located deep in the Mediterranean island’s interior in the historical town of Costix, is owned by disgraced local politician Maria Antònia Munar, who was released from prison in 2020 after serving seven years of a 14-year sentence on corruption charges, the paper reported.

The “Aquaman” actress was recognized by the locals immediately but has seamlessly blended into the community and has been mostly left alone.
“Everyone here treats her like one of the others; in fact, she’s been in this town for months without anyone knowing,” a resident of the town, Miguel, told El Mundo.
Locals said Heard “speaks Spanish with a Mexican accent” and takes her daughter, Oonagh, to the playground “like any other mother.”
The stunning 5,000-plus square-foot home she is renting was on the market earlier this year for $2.7 million. It features an infinity pool and home movie theater with gorgeous views of the Tramuntana mountains, according to the paper.

It’s not clear how much Heard is paying for her luxury accommodations.
Heard’s suit against Depp ended in June with the court ordering Heard to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages plus $350,000 in punitive damages for defaming him in a 2018 op-ed piece she wrote for The Washington Post.
Heard sold her California home in an effort to pay off her debts. Prior to her extended stay in Spain, she spent time in the Hamptons and Israel with her friends and daughter.
Heard has since asked the judge to toss the jury’s verdict. She claims that the judgment wasn’t supported by evidence.
