Brittany Mahomes and Kansas City Current Owners make history
What Brittany Mahomes and the Longs did next is getting them praise from all over. On October 7, the Kansas City Current owners broke ground to construct the world’s first stadium dedicated solely to a women’s soccer team.
The stadium is being built in the Berkeley Riverfront Park, next to the ‘Heart of America’ bridge. Fans expect that they complete the $70 million construction project in time for the 2024 season. It is projected to seat 11,500 spectators.

Some fans did not shy away from predicting Sterling Mahomes, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ daughter, will take to this very field.
