JFK’s Terminal 1 serves several major international carriers, including Lufthansa, Air France and Turkish Airlines.
John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 1 will remain closed Friday due to electrical issues that disrupted travel and saw some flights canceled at one of the world’s busiest airports.
“JFK Terminal 1 will remain closed on 2/17 due to electrical issues as the Port Authority continues working with the terminal’s operator to restore flight operations as quickly as possible,” the airport said in a tweet.
