Cardi B brought a major dose of drama to the Grammys 2023 red carpet Sunday.
The 30-year-old “WAP” chart-topper looked like a work of art in a stunning, sculptural electric blue gown by Gaurav Gupta Couture.
An Indian designer known for his gravity-defying looks, Gupta has previously dressed Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige.
Cardi’s fresh-off-the-runway creation debuted on the catwalk just over a week ago, where it was styled with matching leggings instead of the rapper’s long slip-style skirt.
Styled by Kollin Carter, the “Up” rapper hit the red carpet alongside her husband, Offset, who rocked a white tuxedo with black lapels.

She got her glow thanks to celebrity makeup artist Erika L’ Pearl, who used Sol by Jergens to “enhance” her “naturally beautiful skin tone.”

Fans adored the royal blue hue.
One supporter tweeted, “Cardi B came to EAT! Slay!” as another agreed, “If there is one thing Belcalis is going to do, she’s going to WORK a red carpet. Cardi B is really the fashion girl of the rappers and I love that for her.”
The mom of two is set to present at the Sunday night awards show.

Before music’s biggest night, Cardi hit Clive Davis’s famous pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in a brown patchwork Roberto Cavalli by Fausto Puglisi gown. The custom creation had hand-stitched golden strings and black lace inserts.
The New York native honored her Atlantic Records boss Julie Greenwald during the Recording Academy’s annual Grammy Salute to Industry Icons Award.
