Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, recently took to his Instagram to update his fellows and fans about a dreadful accident. Unfortunately, the superstar’s mother was involved in a terrible car crash. To set more context to add to the severity of the accident, he shared a glimpse of the incident by adding a picture of the defaced car.
He added a moving caption while hinting at his mother’s past health concerns. The post was acknowledged by some of the greats of the sports world, like Michael Phelps, Ronnie Coleman, and Lindsey Vonn, who sent their prayers and wishes for the big guy’s mother. Let’s find out what they had to say.

As per the actor’s social media update, he revealed the grave incident of his mother’s misfortune. While the car was severely deformed, she survived the calamity and has been hospitalized. Moreover, Johnson added in his caption, “Thank you God she’s ok. Angels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night. She’ll survive and continue to get evaluated.”

Furthermore, the comments section was overwhelmed with prominent celebs and legends praying for his mother’s quick recovery. G.O.A.T Michael Phelps wrote, “Glad mamas ok!!” while skiing legend Lindsey Vonn said, “Thank God she’s ok!!!” In addition, bodybuilding pro, Ronnie Coleman added a rather long comment reflecting on his own experience of losing his parents six years ago while sending blessings for The Rock’s mama. While listing out her past sufferings in the caption, he added that she had previously suffered from lung cancer, endured a tough marriage and even was suicidal. He called her a “survivor” and urged others to be grateful for having their loved ones around. Ending the message on an emotional note, he stated, “make sure you hug ‘em hard, cos you never know when you’ll get that 3am call we never want to get.”
