“I’m Not Crying, You’re Crying!”: NBA Veteran and Sports World Gets Emotional as Little Girl Battling Cancer Gets a Ray of Positivity From Renowned Guitarist

The Plain White T’s singer Tom Higgenson has inspired many with his music, but recently a gesture he made touched many hearts. As of January 17, the band put up a video showing Higgenson giving a beautiful surprise to a cancer patient. A performance of “Hey There Delilah” by the singer in front of a little girl in her hospital room. The singer’s act of kindness was much appreciated not only by the NBA but also by the sports community as a whole.
The girl’s cancer treatment has been ongoing for four years now. The released video received widespread attention on the internet for the way it was planned and executed.

“I hear you’re a big fan of our song ‘Hey There Delilah’ so I figured I would play it for you right now,” Higgenson said in the video. He shocked the patient by giving her a heartfelt surprise when he entered her hospital room.
Rex Chapman appreciates the efforts made by Higgenson
Seeing the little girl smile, former basketball player Rex Chapman appreciated Higgenson’s effort and reposted it. He captioned the post, “Delilah has been battling cancer for over 4 years. During treatments, her favorite song has been “Hey There Delilah”, by the Plain White T’s. Maybe take a moment…”

Chapman calls out Elon Musk
Rex Chapman, last month, took to Twitter to call out CEO Elon Musk to a discussion on his podcast. Apparently, Chapman’s Twitter account is not displayed in the list of results when the name Rex Chapman is searched from the search bar.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Hey @elonmusk how about you come on my podcast so we can discuss why my account doesn’t come up on a Twitter search using my name? Or are you too much of a chickenshit coward? I’ve dunked on fake tough guys like you all my life. Can you take a charge?“
