Star: Evart’s Emma Dyer scored 18 points in a 42-40 win over rival Lake City on Thursday night.
Star: Big Rapids’ Kelsie Gorczewicz had 18 points in a 51-30 win over Cedar Springs.
Star: Reed City’s Elijah Lentz (144) and Izaiah Lentz (150) notched two pins each in wins over Clare and Mount Pleasant on Wednesday.

1-Morley Stanwood: Morley Stanwood sits at 3-0 on the season, outscoring its opponents 173-88 in the process.
2-Big Rapids: The Cardinals have opened the season with a strong 4-0 start after wins over Reed City and Cedar Springs.
3-Evart: The Wildcats took down conference favorite Lake City in dramatic fashion to improve to 3-1 on the year.
Top three boys basketball teams
1-Big Rapids: Big Rapids has opened the season at 2-0 with wins over the Aviation Academy and rival Reed City.
2-Chippewa Hills: For the first time in over four seasons Chippewa Hills sits at 2-0 with a win over Farwell on Monday and a dramatic 51-50 win over Morley Stanwood.
3-Baldwin: Baldwin is the only other 2-0 team in the coverage area after wins over Hesperia and Marion.
