2022 edition of the Olympic Day: all the honors and winners

GROSSETO – New edition of the Olympic Day with the conferral of Sports Merit from CONI, scheduled for 6 December from 4 pm in the Aula Magna of the “Pietro Aldi” Higher Education Institute in Piazza Benci.
Both the honors of the National Coni will be awarded with the Bronze Medal for Athletic Valor, the Bronze Star for Sports Merit for Clubs, the Gold Stars for Sports Merit for Managers relating to 2021, as well as the Sports Merit and the Coni Delegation of Grosseto has awarded to those who have particularly distinguished themselves for sporting merits in the year 2022 in our province.
The event was organized at the Polo Liceale in order to strengthen the ethical and educational value that sport can represent together with the school environment. To give further value to the event there will be the intervention of Dr. Claudia Valiani on the theme “Educating oneself to educate through sport”. The awards ceremony will follow in the presence of all the highest authorities of our city as well as the CONI Regional President Simone Cardullo and that of the Provincial Delegate Elisabetta Teodosio.

BRONZE STAR FOR SPORTING MERIT TO SOCIETY
ASD CIRCLE SKATER GROSSETO 1951
The Circolo Pattinatori Grosseto is one of the city’s sporting excellences. A company that in its history has given great satisfaction to the city, not least the seventh place last year, but also the qualification for the second round of the Champions League, which will be played from 14 to 16 December next in Diessbach, Switzerland, and for the current magical moment of the boys coached by Michele Achilli, who settled in third place in the standings and mortgaged a place in the Italian Cup playoffs. The company was founded in 1951 from the commitment of some enthusiasts and skating practitioners coordinated by the president Mario Parri, to whom the rink in the sports center in via Mercurio was named after him in 2021. BRONZE MEDAL FOR ATHLETIC VALOR
HALIT ERYILMAZ – BOXING – Boxer of the FIGHT GYM GROSSETO of President Amedeo Raffi, he is Italian Champion 2020 in the 56 kg category. A pupil of Maestro Raffaele D’Amico, he represented Italy in the 57 kg category at the prestigious International Tournament “Les ceintures” held in France and at the European Boxing Championships held in Roseto degli Abruzzi in 2021 as well as having collected numerous successes in the ring.
GOLD STAR FOR SPORTING MERIT TO EXECUTIVE
SECOND BENEDETTI – For many years Provincial President of the Italian Cycling Federation and then Provincial Delegate he dedicated his sporting life to cycling and also thanks to him our territory was crossed by various stages of the Giro d’Italia. He is currently the Provincial President of the National Association of Sports Merit Stars – Meritorious Association of CONI – where he continues to make an important contribution thanks to his experience and deep passion for sport, enhancing the meaning of “stars” and “palms” as high merit morale in order to promote initiatives and projects that help young people to understand and disseminate the ethical, educational and social value of sport.
PIERPAOLO BONELLI – As a Firefighter you have been involved for a long time with their sports group especially in winter sports. He held the office of Provincial President of Federginnastica for a long time, managing to bring the Rhythmic Gymnastics Team to Follonica and Marina di Grosseto for preparation for the Olympics and various editions of the World Championships.

YOUTH CATEGORIES
ANDREI LUCA PAZZAGLI – FIPSAS – ASDGAO BRINELLA Orbetello Athletes Group – Summoned in the 2022 season in the Italian Under 18 national team and participated in the World Championships in open water, winning the gold medals in the 4 × 1000 mixed bifin style relay Junior Category. He finished third in the 1000 meters bifin style Junior Category – third in the 3000 meters twin fin Style Junior Category. He also ranked 1st in the U18 Italian Open Water Championship in the 3000 meters fin style and 2 in the 1000 meters fin style as well as other prestigious results obtained in 2022.
IRENE MARIOTTI – FIT – ASD Circolo Tennis Grosseto – Beach Tennis World Champion with the Junior National Team at the Championship held in Brazil and Italian Champion in the U18 category both in singles and in pairs
BICOCCHI MIA – FIG – Artistic Gymnastics Discipline – 1 classified at the Italian Championship FGI Silver category LC3 Junior held in Rimini.
MASTER CATEGORY
ALESSANDRA D’AMARIO – FIJLKAM – ASD BODY LIFE – Judo discipline – 2 classified at the World Championship held in Krakow and 2 classified at the Italian Master Championship 52 Kg.
MASSIMO MILANO – FIPSAS – ASDGAO BRINELLA Orbetello Athletes Group – 1 classified in the Master World Championship in open water in the 1000 meters bifin style and 1 classified in the 3000 meters twin fin style
JOACHIM NSHIMIRIMANA – FIDAL – ASD TRACK&FIELD – 3 times gold at the European Masters Championships in Braga in cross-country running and in Grosseto in both individual and team half marathon.

SKEEP – CIP – Association that is strongly committed to social issues with particular attention to the performance of sporting activities, including competitive ones, for its special athletes. ASD ODISSEA 2001 for the excellent results achieved by their athletes Michel Carlini and Elisa Morganti who, under the guidance of the Technical Director Massimo Grifoni, won third place at the World Standard Dance Championships in the Senior category held in Sibiu in Romania and the recognition for the Teacher Alessia Barni who as Federal Coach and International Judge was called to judge the Latin Style World Championship held in Athens and for Maestro Edoardo Bernardini who as Federal Coach and International Judge was summoned to judge the World Championship of Breakdance in Seoul South Korea and as a Member of the Breaking FIDS Working Group he was in charge of accompanying this discipline on its way to the Paris 2024 Olympics.
FOLLONICA HOCKEY 1952 for the excellent results achieved by its athletes, in particular the 2022 Italian Champion Team of Track Hockey in the Under 11 and Under 17 B categories and the Serie B team promoted to A2.

ANDREA BARTOLINI – ASDGAO BRINELLA Group Atleti Orbetello – with its Pazzagli Athletes Andrei Luca, Turetta Tommaso, Talenti Giulia, Milano Massimo, Pinzuti Pierpaolo, Bartolini Matteo, has obtained important competitive results and placements thus giving prestige to our territory as regards swimming finned. Since 2017 he has held the role of Technical Commissioner of all the National Teams of the Finswimming sector of the Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities.
DARIO BENUCCI – ASD POLISPORTIVA NUOVA GROSSETO BARBANELLA – First a footballer and then a sports manager, he has always combined his great professionalism and passion with a big heart. A manager attentive above all to young people, with Nuova Grosseto Barbanella has created an inclusion project with some Special Athletes that he had already experimented with Blue Soccer Grosseto in 2017. Four special Athletes train once a week together with their peers from the Junior team of the Nuova Grosseto Barbanella where they were welcomed with enthusiasm and participation.
