Tom Cruise performing stunt at Olympics Closing Ceremony

An A-list celebrity appears to be playing a big role in the Closing Ceremony of the Paris Olympics.
PARIS, France — Tom Cruise has been spotted in the stands catching some of the Olympic competition so far in Paris. But according to reports, the actor will be playing a starring (and epic) role in the Closing Ceremony.
Cruise will reportedly be performing some big stunts to close out the 2024 Summer Games and help pass the Olympic flag to 2028 host Los Angeles.
TMZ, which was first to report on the stunt, said the plan includes Cruise rappelling down from the top of the Stade de France.
The live broadcast will reportedly then cut to prerecorded footage of the A-list star flying from France to California, before skydiving down to the Hollywood sign.
It appears the Hollywood sign portion of the stunt was filmed in March, when Cruise was seen hanging from the iconic Los Angeles landmark. But no one at the time seemed to know what he was filming.
The Closing Ceremony has been named
