I went to Google Trends and looked up ‘summer travel’. From there I took a peek at the ‘related topics’ and found a few destinations that Minnesotans have been Googling in relation to summer travel.
The number 5 place Minnesotans hope to travel to. based on our search trends. is Europe. I actually know a few friends who will be going to Europe this year so that makes sense, it definitely seems like a popular destination.

Number 4 isn’t a particular destination but many Minnesotans want to do a road trip vacation. For me, a road trip would be one maybe two states away. I know some people can do longer road trips than that but I just can’t be in a car that long, it drives me crazy!
