Best Buy is offering a pretty good deal right now on the Garmin Fenix 7X sports watch, but only for the rest of the day, which means you need to jump on this quickly if you want to save money on it. Normally this watch would cost you $900. That’s a lot for a sports watch, but there are reasons why it’s a bit more expensive. That being said, if you pick it up during this sale, you can grab it for only $650. So you end up saving $250. That’s a lot more reasonable and the lower price should make it easier for more people to snag it.
Garmin’s smartwatches have a lot to offer but one thing that sets models like the Fenix 7X apart from others is the battery life. This watch can last for up to 89 hours in GPS mode. However, this model of the Fenix 7X also has solar charging, as it’s the Sapphire Solar variant of the watch. So if you’re outdoors, the battery life goes up to 122 hours. Here’s where things get really wild. In smartwatch mode, the Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar can last for up to 28 days indoors. If you’re outdoors making use of solar charging, it can last for up to 37 days.
That’s downright bonkers. In addition to the solar charging, the Garmin Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar also has 24/7 heart rate tracking, multi-continent topo maps, smartphone notifications, a 1.4-inch display, and a built-in LED flashlight. The flashlight in particular is one of my favorite features. Just think of how useful that would be in so many situations. Specifically, if you’re out hiking or running early in the morning before it gets light outside. Remember, though, this deal is only good for the rest of the day.
