Netflix is one of the most popular streaming services in the world, with nearly 280 million subscribers. And just what do those people tend to watch? In particular, what is the most popular movie on Netflix? Each week, the streaming service releases a list of its 10 most-watched movies over a recent seven-day period to keep subscribers in the loop regarding its most popular titles.
The fans have spoken, and they love Rebel Ridge. The Jeremy Saulnier action movie remains at No. 1 this week. Three new entries occupy space within the top five: Uglies at No. 2, Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter at No. 3, and Edge of Tomorrow at No. 4. 10. The Mallard family resides in New England. Mack is very hesitant to fly south and migrate. After hearing about a group of ducks migrating to Jamacia, Mack has a change of heart and plans a family trip south. Shortly after the Mallards’ journey begins, things go haywire as their plan for a safe trip goes up in smoke. Movie is an origin story for Mario (Chris Pratt) and Luigi (Charlie Day), two Italian-American brothers working as plumbers in Brooklyn, New York. While fixing a water main leak, the two brothers are sent down the Warp Pipe into two kingdoms. Mario lands in the Mushroom Kingdom with Princess Peach (Furiosa‘s Anya Taylor-Joy), while Luigi ends up in the Dark Lands ruled by Bowser (Jack Black). Mario sets out to find Luigi and save the world from Bowser’s reign. The film also features other notable characters like Toad (Keegan-Michael Key) and Donkey Kong (Seth Rogen). Read more

However, eliminating one organization means Bulgar has less competition to control Boston. When a great white shark named Frankie (Michael Imperioli) attempts to punish the fish, Oscar outsmarts the shark, and Frankie accidentally dies. Oscar takes credit for the death and becomes known as the “Sharkslayer.” He then forms a friendship with Frankie’s vegetarian brother, Lenny (Jack Black). The never-ending cycle continues, and Cage lives, dies, and lives again. However, his combat skills significantly improve. Unfortunately, a dead body is found in Wisconsin, and authorities think it could be Aundria. This startling revelation sends Terkanian on a mission to figure out what happened to her daughter and why she went missing. Through the investigation, Aundria learns about the daughter she never knew and grows closer to her memory. Read more

During this time, Tally becomes friends with her classmate Shay (Brianne Tju) and learns about “The Smoke,” a place beyond the city where rebellious Uglies live in nature. On the day of her surgery, Shay leaves for The Smoke. Wanting to save her friend from potential danger, Tally abandons her surgery and ventures past the city’s limits. She finds a world that makes her question everything the government has taught her. Maybe being ugly isn’t so bad. Read more
