A recent update to the parking rules at Port Canaveral has increased the per-day pricing of parking a vehicle overnight during a cruise.
Port Canaveral Parking
Port Canaveral is a popular destination for guests to board ships for several popular cruise lines, notably Disney Cruise Line.
Current Disney Cruise Line sailings departing from Port Canaveral include Bahamian cruises on the Disney Wish, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Magic. Some of these sailings are holiday-themed for Halloween on the High Seas or Very Merrytime. You can also check out a special Disney Visa Cardmember offer for select fall sailings in 2025.
A proposal to increase parking fees was first mentioned during a commissioner’s meeting on August 20, and it went into effect starting at the beginning of October 2025. Prior to this change, the daily cruise parking rate was $17 per night, per vehicle.
The pricing for vehicle parking has now been raised to $20 per night. This new rate does include both the day of embarkation and the day of debarkation, so a parking space for a 3-night cruise would actually run $80 plus tax. This $20 price is the same regardless of the vehicle’s size.
This change marks the first time since 2017 that the port has raised its parking fees. The change is now reflected on the Directions & Parking page of the Port Canaveral official website.
As reported by WFTV 9 , the reason for the price increase cited by officials is record passenger numbers, “The port has already seen 8.4 million people come through this year, and officials are projecting 9 million people will come through next year.”
