The Jets have disappointed yet again this season, sitting at 3-7 heading into Sunday, tied for last place in the AFC East with the rebuilding New England Patriots.
Most recently, New York fell 31-6 to the Arizona Cardinals in what was a tough outing for 40-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who connected on 22 of his 35 passes for just 151 yards and no touchdowns. Heading into Sunday, Rodgers has 2,258 yards, 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions on the season.

The Colts, meanwhile, sit 4-6 on the season, second place in the AFC South. The big news for Indianapolis this week was that second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson, after two weeks on the bench, had retaken his starting job and would remain the team’s starter for the rest of the campaign, unseating veteran quarterback Joe Flacco in the process.
The decision came after Indianapolis fell 30-20 to the Buffalo Bills last week with Flacco struggling in the outing, connecting on 25 of 36 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns but with three costly interceptions that wound up losing Indianapolis the game.
Richardson regains his starting spot with 958 yards in six games this season, but with a brutal 44.4 percent completion percentage to go with four touchdowns and seven interceptions. The former Florida Gator may not be ready to help Indianapolis win now but there’s no doubt he needs as many reps as possible to maybe start to reach his potential next season, so it makes sense why the Colts decided to go back to him.
