Disney christened its newest cruise ship, the Disney Destiny, briefly transporting Port Canaveral, Florida, into the most magical place on Earth.
About an hour east of its flagship Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in Orlando, Disney brought some of its entertainment magic to one of the world’s busiest ports, captivating viewers online and in person with a concert and stunning drone show. The Disney Destiny cruise ship also served as a backdrop for laser-projected images as performers took the stage.
For a little over a week, people in Brevard County have stopped by Port Canaveral, where it has been docked, to get a peek at the Disney Destiny.
