Simone Biles recently came to the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. There, the 11-time medallist talked about her most nervous moment during the Paris Olympics. While a good deal of people might feel it was performing well in her sport, it’s actually something completely different. It was when she had to hand the flag to Tom Cruise during the closing ceremony due to the fear of ruining it.
She said, ” I’m always tripping, falling down stairs which is bad for me. So, actually, that’s like the most nervous I was for the whole entire Olympics. I had to hand the flag, I’m like don’t mess up, don’t mess up, I was terrified.”
