American Airlines has taken a big step in strengthening its long-haul fleet with the arrival of its first Airbus A321XLR with registration of N300NY, which was seen in full livery at Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport (XFW) in late March 2025.
Although not confirmed, the aircraft is expected to be delivered in April, according to aviation watchdog JonNYC. When replying to Simple Flying’s inquiry, a spokesperson for the airline said in an email:
