A new ship’s log page from Disney Parks Blog, tracking progress on Disney Destiny, has launched. For its first update, a new timelapse video showing the ship’s exterior construction has been shared.

The page has released a first look into the ship’s progress. The ship’s log reports:
Today, we are bringing you a first look at this ship’s progress and are excited to share that the final blocks (i.e. sections of the ship) were put into place in late 2024. That’s right – with the last piece of the ship in place, the ship’s exterior is now structurally complete and outfitting work has begun on the interior. Take a look at this timelapse construction footage to see the Disney Destiny’s progress, including a look at how it was built alongside the Disney Treasure in the shipyard.
Disney also shared an update via social media on their Disney Cruise Line Instagram.
The Disney Destiny maiden voyage leaves from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on November 20, 2025.
The ship will feature a Wakanda-inspired atrium with a Black Panther statue, Iron Man tower suite, Spider-Man stern figure, Haunted Mansion Parlor, “Hercules” stage show, and much more.
