Las Vegas launches its first-ever Neon City Festival, Nov. 22-24, an open-air music and culinary event that takes over downtown from Fremont Street Experience and the Arts District to The STRAT Hotel, Casino, and Tower. This free all-ages event promises live music on four outdoor stages (see headliners Alison Wonderland, Neon Trees, the All-American Rejects, and Seven Lions, among many other bands), pop-up performances, a fireworks show, laser art shows, and a special 3-D-motion graphic show on “Viva Vision,” which claims to be the world’s largest LED canopy screen. Food vendors dish up special offerings from local restaurants — wood-fired pizza, dim sum dumplings, authentic Latin empanadas, lobster rolls, and sushi.
