Though other Disney Cruise Line ships offer karaoke, the Disney Adventure is the first to have private karaoke rooms. These are located on Deck 7 inside D Lounge.
Private Karaoke Rooms – Disney Adventure
Reservations for private karaoke are recommended and can be made online by visiting My Reservations or via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, both pre-voyage or once on board. Cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged. Minors must be accompanied by a guest 18 years or older.
The three rooms are named after different famous singing Disney characters: Lumiere, Sebastian, and The Muses. The Lumiere and Sebastian rooms can accommodate up to 8 people, while The Muses is for up to 10 guests. Disney Cruise Line suggests guests using mobility aids book either the Sebastian Karaoke Room or The Muses Karaoke Room.
Assorted alcoholic beverages and light snacks are included. Alcoholic beverages are available at an additional cost.
A wrap-around couch runs along one side of the room, around a small table. The ceiling light features music notes.
We were in the Lumiere room, which meant there was a picture from the “Be Our Guest” scene on the wall. The light sconces are shaped like music notes.
A cast member escorts guests into their room and explains how to use the tablet on the wall for song selection.
There are two TVs that display lyrics and groups get two microphones.
Watch Tom sing karaoke in his Disney Adventure maiden voyage day 2 vlog below.
