Carnival Cruise Line is introducing a new dining option for guests who want a quality meal in less time.
The company is debuting Express Dining, a multi-course dinner experience served in under an hour for parties of six or fewer guests, according to a news release.
“Our guests continue to tell us they value greater flexibility in how they spend their time on board, and Express Dining was designed with that in mind,” Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, said in the release.
“Our pilot program generated positive feedback from our guests. With this in mind, we are excited to expand Express Dining to offer them the same high quality dishes and attentive service our dining rooms are known for, while giving guests the ability to use more of their time to enjoy all the other onboard fun.”
Guests will experience reduced service time while enjoying a curated menu similar to the main dining room offerings, just slightly slimmed down. Carnival will still accommodate dietary restrictions upon request.
Express Dining is now available on 15 Carnival cruise ships including:

Celebration
Mardi Gras
Venezia
Firenze
Panorama
Horizon
Sunrise
Vista
Breeze
Radiance
Conquest
Dream
Glory
Freedom
The company said the offerings will be implemented across all ships by the end of May.
Carnival’s roll out comes as the company shifts focus to dining flexibility onboard its fleets. The cruise line recently debuted Family Express service on the Lido Deck, which was designed to reduce wait times for families during busy hours. It features kid-friendly foods and grab-and-go meals for guests to dine quickly and get back to enjoying their leisure time.
