George Mason improves to 11-1 with Sunday win over Loyola

George Mason got 26 points from Kory Mincy to get past Loyola, 86-79, on Sunday in Fairfax.
Mason (11-1, NET: 63) is sitting at 11-1 for just the third time in program history as it heads into its holiday break.
Loyola (4-9, NET: 351) led by five at the half. An 11-0 run early in the second half by the Patriots pushed GMU up by three (46-43), and once the Patriots went up 61-58 with 8:24 left, they would not relinquish the lead for the remainder of the game.
George Mason shot 55.6 percent in the second half (15-of-27).
Jahari Long added 18 points, six rebounds and a team-high five assists for Mason, while Riley Allenspach chipped in 16 points, six rebounds and two steals.
