If you’re planning a summer cruise in 2026 but worried about missing the FIFA World Cup, here’s the reassuring news: many of the world’s biggest cruise companies are already planning for it.
With the tournament taking place across the U.S., Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026, cruise lines know a lot of their guests will want access to live matches while at sea. Several major cruise groups have now confirmed that games will be shown onboard, making it easier to enjoy both your vacation—and the World Cup.
Here’s how the biggest cruise companies are handling coverage.

Carnival Corporation (Holland America Line, Princess, P&O Cruises, Cunard and Seabourn)
Carnival Corporation has confirmed that its secured the rights to broadcast all 104 World Cup matches across five of its major cruise lines.
On Holland America Line, games will air on stateroom televisions via Sport 24 Special Event Channels, with select marquee matches shown on pool-deck big screens or in larger venues like the World Stage.
Princess Cruises will also offer in-cabin viewing across its 17 ships sailing the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Alaska and Japan, with select matches screened on Lido Decks.
Guests sailing with P&O Cruises and Cunard can expect games to be shown in traditional onboard pubs like Brodie’s and the Golden Lion, with high-profile fixtures—including England matches—shown in larger spaces such as SkyDome and The Pavilion. Some sailings will also host themed viewing events.
Seabourn will also broadcast all 104 matches on its ocean fleet, with access in guest suites and public areas.

Royal Caribbean Group (Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises)
The Royal Caribbean Group has confirmed that World Cup matches will be shown across its ships, including both Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises.
Coverage is expected to include sports bars, lounges and select large-screen venues, with major matches prioritized depending on sailing schedules and guest interest. Exact viewing locations may vary by ship and itinerary.

MSC Cruises
