Details on how a Florida teen died on a Caribbean cruise have been revealed

Investigators revealed the cause of death for the 18-year-old cheerleader found dead on a Carnival cruise ship.
Anna Kepner died by asphyxiation caused by an arm held across the neck, a source told ABC on Friday.
Authorities found two bruises on the side of her neck.
The FBI and the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office have yet to comment on the investigation.
There were no signs of sexual assault and toxicology results were negative for drugs and alcohol in Kepner’s system, according to ABC’s source.
The teen was found dead under a bed. A housekeeper discovered her body wrapped in blankets and life vests, confirmed CBS News.
The medical examiner listed her time of death as 11:17 a.m. on Nov. 7. This was about the time a housekeeper discovered her body, according to a source close to the investigation.
Kepner was on the cruise in the Caribbean with her father, stepmother and three stepsiblings.
The investigation is still ongoing and the autopsy report for Kepner is pending.
