Concierge guests on Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Dream get access to an exclusive sun deck and concierge lounge, which is inspired by Hercules. Come with us to take a full photo tour!
Concierge Lounge
The concierge lounge is located on Deck 12. A screen outside displays information and hours as needed. The lounge is usually open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The glass doors have a metallic sun design — the first hint of Hercules theming inside.
The check-in desk also has a sun motif on the front. The walls are white with golden inset lights. Grecian-style props sit n transparent display shelves.
There are various plush chairs and round tables. The blue and pink upholstery and carpeting are designed to reflect the sky around Mt. Olympus. Guests can literally look up at the heavens thanks to a large circular skylight.
The sky theming carries onto the walls with artwork of Mt. Olympus surrounded by clouds. In one piece, Hercules is flying in front of the sun on Pegasus. Another shows the young hero with his godly parents at the gates, and the third is a wide-angle view of the Mt. Olympus palaces.
There are also black and white concept sketches of Mt. Olympus from the development of Hercules.
Faux portholes with frosted glass designs are on the outside walls of the lounge. There are shiny throw pillows on the sofas, as well as golden coffee tables. Sun motifs continue on other doors in the space.
A television in a gold frame faces kid-sized seats behind a short wall. Around the television are shelves of props, including books, pottery, and an owl figure. Mickey cartoons periodically play throughout the day.
The props include Hercules’ golden medallion and Zeus’ lightning bolt. There’s a Pegasus figure, sundial, and Grecian vase among fake white books.
A series of curved benches are located along the wall under golden, illuminated cloud panels. Cloud-inspired lamps sit between each bench.
The benches lead up to the bar, which has a white front, gold accents, and a light gray marble countertop. Grecian-style columns stand behind the bar. Blue bar seats for guests are placed in front.
The lounge offers cocktails during select hours.
There are also complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages at a self-service area. There’s a cooler of various beverages and a coffee machine.
A buffet offers pastries, fruits, and charcuterie options for guests to enjoy during their visit on the Concierge Sun Deck.
Concierge Sun Deck
A door in the lounge leads up to the concierge-exclusive sun deck, technically up on Deck 13. Here, concierge guests can enjoy a private hot tub and views of the ocean.
The gates leading out of the lounge feature symbols from Hercules, but otherwise the sun deck furnishings match the rest of the ship’s exterior decks. The lounge’s skylight is in the center of the space, surrounded by a railing and wood paneling.
There is an overhang, but it has a cutout over the skylight and hot tub.
Seating options include adjustable lounge chairs, round arm chairs, and a couch near the bar.
Like the lounge, the small bar on the sun deck is only open at select times.
Some amenities, like sunscreen and cold beverages, are also available on the deck.
Like the rest of Disney Cruise Line’s exterior decks, there are cabinets of clean towels alongside bins for used towels, food, and other waste.
A rainfall shower on the deck is coated in blue and white tile.
