The Boston Celtics will have to work for their first win of the 2025-26 season.
After losing to the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks to begin their campaign, the Celtics travel to Detroit to face an upstart Pistons team led by All-Star guard Cade Cunningham, who racked up 21 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in a win over the Houston Rockets on Friday.
Boston hasn’t started a season 0-3 since the 2013-14 campaign (Brad Stevens’ first as head coach), so expect Joe Mazzulla’s club to play with a sense of desperation after a pair of early letdowns.
